These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Sera, including the Sera app and website. By using Sera, you agree to these Terms.

What Sera provides

Sera is an AI breakup coach for no-contact support, breakup recovery, daily check-ins, and private reflection. Sera provides general emotional support and self-reflection prompts.

Not medical, therapy, crisis, or emergency care

Sera is not a medical device, therapist, counselor, crisis line, emergency service, or replacement for professional help. Sera does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any condition.

If you may hurt yourself or someone else, or if you are in immediate danger, call local emergency services or a crisis hotline immediately. Do not rely on Sera for emergency help.

AI responses

Sera uses AI, so responses can be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or inappropriate for your situation. You are responsible for deciding how to use any information or suggestions Sera provides.

Your responsibilities

• Use Sera only for lawful, personal purposes.
• Do not use Sera to harass, threaten, stalk, abuse, or harm another person.
• Do not try to bypass safety features, security controls, or subscription access.
• Do not submit content that you do not have the right to share.

Your content

You keep ownership of the information you enter into Sera. You give us permission to process your content as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve Sera, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions and trials

Sera may offer paid subscriptions and free trials. Subscription prices, durations, and trial terms are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through your App Store account settings before the renewal date.

Apple handles App Store billing, cancellation, and refund requests according to Apple's terms and policies. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how Sera handles information. By using Sera, you agree that we can process information as described there.

Changes to Sera

We may add, change, suspend, or remove features. We may also update these Terms. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.

Ending access

You can stop using Sera at any time. We may suspend or end access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for Sera or others, or used Sera unlawfully.

Disclaimers

Sera is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent allowed by law. We do not promise that Sera will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill related to your use of Sera.
